What is Instructional Design?
Instructional design is the assessment of learning needs and the systematic process of designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning materials and experiences to meet those needs. Learning materials and experiences created include e-learning modules, online courses, instructor-led training, cheat sheets, video tutorials, and more. Applying instructional design methodologies creates a more effective, accessible, and successful experience for learners and organizations.
What are learning technologies?
Learning technologies are tools that support or enhance the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of learning materials and programs. All learning materials and programs are unique in content, audience, and mode of delivery. It is important to identify and apply the appropriate tools for each learning experience.
