Staging for the President’s visit to IIM-Nagpur on the 8th

The stage is set for the inauguration of the new campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Nagpur at the hands of Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday.

Dr. Madhavi Khode-Chaware has convened a joint meeting of all senior officials in Nagpur to review arrangements for the President’s agenda. She ordered the officials to carry out their respective responsibilities. R Vimala, District Collector; Basavraj Teli, deputy police commissioner; Asha Pathan, Deputy Commissioner of Revenue; Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Deputy Director of Health Services, Hemant Patil, Superintendent Engineer, Department of Public Works (Electrical Section), Senior Staff of IIM, MIHAN, Nagpur Municipal Corporation.

Ram Nath Kovind will arrive at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur by a special Indian Air Force plane on Sunday, May 8 at 9:25 a.m. It will leave for IIM-Nagpur housed at MIHAN at 9:35 am.

The program at IIM will take place between 10am and 11am. At 11 a.m., the President will visit Raj Bhavan. The time between 11.30 am and 4.00 pm at Raj Bhavan will be reserved, after which at 4.25 pm the President will depart for Delhi from Nagpur.

While passing instructions to follow all protocols related to the President’s tour, Dr. Madhavi Chaware instructed all officials and employees deployed for the tour to do their RTPCR tests. R Vimala instructed officials on arrangements to be made at Raj Bhavan for the President’s stay. IIM Nagpur is a prestigious institute that has reached the global map in a short time. It has several ongoing projects in collaboration with internationally renowned universities in England, America, Canada, Japan, Denmark and France. IIM Nagpur has also revolutionized the mode of distance education. It also began providing online management training for working professionals. Last year, he provided training to professionals in Pune.

During the coronavirus pandemic, all sectors have encountered problems and the field of education has been no exception. But, IIM-Nagpur has witnessed 100% admission.

IIM, spread over a land of 132 acres, has several management and administration centers with 665 students studying in various branches. IIM’s classrooms are state of the art. IIM Nagpur wore a new look due to the new campus.
