Gurugram (Haryana) [India], August 26 (ANI/NewsView): Effective teaching is not possible without effective learning. When the world is at an inflection point and plunges into the digital and virtual teaching mode, it becomes extremely difficult to teach effectively and have active and enthusiastic learners in the classroom. In face-to-face or online lectures (cameras and microphones off), teachers do not know whether their students are learning or not.
BMU organized an ATAL (AICTE Academy of Teaching and Learning) faculty development program from July 5-9, 2021 on instructional design for effective teaching, with more than 140 teachers and professors from different disciplines participating in the FDP. The workshop brought together participants from across the country to gain expertise and confidence in conducting more engaging face-to-face and online classes.

Program details
Professor Manoj K. Arora, vice-chancellor of the university, inaugurated the event on July 5. Participants also gained perspective on national education policy and how it affects teachers and teaching.
