WILMORE, Ky.– The University of Asbury has launched an MA program in Instructional Design, Innovation and Leadership that prepares graduates to enter the competitive and growing industry of instructional design.
“The introduction of this degree is timely as businesses and educational institutions in the United States and around the world are rapidly adopting new training modalities,” said Dr. Jim Owens, Dean of the School of communication arts.
As the demand for e-learning continues to grow exponentially, businesses and educational institutions are looking for qualified instructional designers. Instructional designers help organizations transition from face-to-face workspaces to online learning and training. These skills are in high demand, especially since the onset of the global pandemic and workplaces need to change the way they communicate, teach and train employees.
Expert faculty encourage students to develop skills in learning and design theories coupled with the targeted use of the latest digital educational technologies and skills for today’s modern workforce. For more information, visit www.asbury.edu/IDGrad
